Sir, Instead of end snips, try a guitar fret cutter.
Absolutely no cleanup required as the blades are 90 degrees.

What was your total cost to build this ?
On my ss80 I had to drill the metal on the locking block and ended up messing mine up. I used the snipes to cut the front and a model knife to take it down to the frame. I just used a model knife for the rear blocks then 1500 grit sand paper and wd40 make it look nice.

I noticed you cut off all of the plastic for the rear rail flush with the frame. The plastic you cut off is supposed to fit flush under the rear rail for support.
