Our guest today is Katharine Gorka. Katie is the Director for Civil Society and the American Dialogue at the Heritage Foundation's Edwin J. Feulner Institute.
Katie has served as senior advisor in the Office of Policy at the Department of Homeland Security from 2017 to 2019, where she focused on strategies for prevention of terrorism and targeted violence. She has also served as the press secretary for U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
From 1996 to 2008, she lived in Budapest, Hungary, where she came to understand firsthand the devastating impact of communism and developed a lifelong commitment to fighting for freedom and American exceptionalism.
1) Katie, you and your team are working with schools all across the US that are pushing back on this tidal wave of politicized curriculum like Critical Race Theory. Give us an overview of what some of the success stories are.
