Sam, at what point/time do you determine the brass needs cleaning ? Do you then use a tumbler or???

Generally, I clean them after each reload. I don't use a tumbler as what I do works well. I just deprime first, then soak in hot water and Tide detergent in a milk jug type container(no specific amount just whatever makes it soapy), and then after a few hours I shake and rinse and as i'm rinsing I put them all in a sink of rinse water and add a cup of vinegar and maybe a tablespoon of salt, I leave that on the brass no longer than 60 seconds and quickly rinse again. I then dry on a towel and leave set to air dry for a couple of days just to be sure the moisture is all gone.
