Harith Augustus is Dead and So is Civility

Sorry for the vertical video but this was recorded on Facebook live. I share my opinion on the recent Chicago shooting, which I recap in this video, and someone decides to start tossing around a racial insult. I politely address them and they claim not to know it was an insult. I explained how I was educated a couple years back and I dont use that language because it is used to be derogatory towards Whites. Now, I'm all for people not being all EXTRA sensitive; however, when people are trying to engage in a rational and polite dialouge, they should not be attacked while doing so.

We cant claim people dont care, yet when they show they want to be involved, we attack them. "You cant ask for inclusion while practicing exclusion". We have to be better and behave as adults. What happened to being civil to others? Why cant good natured humans talk about things without jumping to insults. Why would you want to make an enemy of a potential ally? Just makes no sense. We all have to come to the table to really bring solutions and discussions. The Adults need to talk at the big table; apparently we need to prep a few kiddie tables as well.
