Gear Report's Publisher, Jeff, helped get two Hobie 14 sailboats donated to the local Sea Scouts, BSA Ship. One was decent, but needed some parts upgraded/replaced.
The other had rotten pontoons, but otherwise good parts.
The Scouts picked the best parts from each boat to make one great boat.
Jeff and Randall were tasked with on-the-water testing at various stages in the refurb process.
