Scents of citrus, grapefruit pith, pineapple, tropical fruit and peach. An excellent, enticing, lovely smelling scent. Flavor begins with a bit of caramel malt and a big hit of hop bitterness. There is a bit of grapefruit pith, some herbal and floral flavors, and some pine. Finish is resinous and bitter, with some malt sweetness, with a very bitter aftertaste. The alcohol is well hidden. A very nice, balanced DIPA that combines sweetness with intense bitterness quite nicely. The hop flavors are also complex, running a gamut of different flavors. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and sticky with low carbonation. Quite easy to drink because of this. This is a good DIPA, it's balanced between bitter hop flavors and sweetness. It's quite easy to drink and well worth trying.
