How many Shots to Stop the Threat? East Cleveland Ohio Police Shooting
There is no set number of rounds that it takes to stop the threat. The shot count can be different in every scenario and every aggressor. For that reason we can't train to a set number of rounds. 2, 3, 5, 12? It takes what it takes to stop the threat.
It is important we study real world incidents, such as this, so that we train effectively and realistically. In this video which appears to originate from East Cleveland Ohio, it took 12 shots from police to stop the threat, over a period of 10 seconds from first shot until the aggressor stopped.
