How to break a car window

I see so many videos of LEOs using their retractable batons on windows. It's often embarrassing. If you don't have a broken piece of spark plug insulator to throw at it, carry a tactical pen or a spring-loaded window punch. I'm using a $10 aluminum, tactical pen (kubaton) with a window punch in the end.
Yes, I should have been wearing gloves. I'm currently wearing band-aids. 😁
Spring-loaded punches are better, but if wearing gloves, a hardened punch on a pen or knife makes way more sense than a baton. Tempered glass is made to withstand blunt objects, and the curved glass is even less prone to damage from a blunt object.
