I did not want to sink more money into my ape gun with aftermarket parts so I did my own work on it. More money into it would defeat its purpose. I don't feel so bad if it gets stolen or impounded being a $250 gun. I just took some foam rubber pads (used for packing material) for mag bumpers and screwed and epoxied them onto the plastic mag bases. Works great.
