Quite possibly the most unique pistol in many collections due to it's toggle lock action, the Luger Model 1908 is one of the finest wartime pistols ever made.

It's design appears to be misappropriated from an American gun designer from Connecticut named Borchardt who worked at Winchester so claims of it's "awesome German engineering and design" might be wrong but there is no doubt of it's excellent manufacturing by, in the case of my example, Mauser in Germany. In 1939 a guy named Adolph was real busy and needed LOTS of guns.

This pistol shared the Great War with the Walther P. 38 so it's only fitting to do a double feature.....stay tuned friends!
