M+M M10X Trigger Mod #1
An M10X single stage trigger converted to a two-stage custom trigger. This utilizes the M+M M10X hammer for the correct impact profile with the Century RAK-1 twin hook design. The RAK-1 performs it's two-stage stop point with the hammer contact to the top of the disconnector instead of using stop beads on the hammer shelf and hooks. Pull weight is 3lbs first stage and 4.25 lbs 2nd stage using the M10X hammer spring. I left some creep in the 2nd stage, but very little. It's completely tune-able with however creative you want to get. Being an M+M M10X, with a completely different safety to an AK setup, fitting is necessary, but very simple. Just take little steps to get what you want to achieve. The disconnector can also be adjusted for deeper hold depth on the hammer shelf by tuning the disconnect stop shelf. Creep is tuned by removing material from the top, forward portion of the disconnector. In other words, if you remove material from the disconnect stop shelf, more material needs to be removed from the hammer contact point of the disconnector. You have to like doing this kind of thing because it's time consuming, but the results are a finely tuned AK trigger.
