M16A3 LMG / LSW

Video of a M16A3 LSW being fired. The LSW is the open bolt version of the M16. The barrel and gas tube are beefed up to handle the sustained fire role. LSW stands for "Light Support Weapon". Several countries around the world use this weapon as a SAW. The US Marines tested this weapon as a possible replacement for the M249, they did not adopt it. The suppressor in the video is an Advanced Armament Company 416SD. The flash hider mount is the latest Blackout flash hider from AAC. The magazine shown in the video is a C-Mag. Targets were at 300 yrds and the secondary ping you hear is the bullets hitting the steel gongs.
