Maj Toure about the 2A Rally... and being unarmed

Maj took some time this AM to address the issue of the 2A Rally being an unarmed pro gun event.

I appreciate his commitment to the big picture of the cause and his willingness to confront this "controversy" in a small segment of the gun community. I've taken plenty of flak over the years for not hiding the fact that I don't carry on airplanes, courthouses, when I travel internationally, when I'm drinking or under other circumstances... because those facts don't pander to those who just want to hear people say "no compromise" or pound a table screaming "shall not be infringed". Choosing when and how to exercise my rights responsibly doesn't make me a "gun grabber".... and the Rally being an unarmed event doesn't make it worthless.

The 2A Rally is a coalition of concerned American Gun Owners .... we will not all agree on everything. That's okay, as long as we are untied under the concept of our individual right to keep and bear arms.... and our obligation to defend that right and exercise it responsibly.
