Mauser restoration update

Getting there and happy with the results so far . Lots more to do and that's fine with me.
I dig the bling with bare (and soon to be highly polished) steel but no idea what to clear coat it with. Would hate to crap it up and end up redoing it.
Sorry about the many post on the same gun but I'm a bit captive in my home for a bit. Will try to resist posting just because I think it's cool 😎 ha
