Metro Arms ACC45B Range Visit
This is my first range visit with the Metro Arms 1911 American Classic Commander chambered in .45ACP. In fact, this is the first time I've ever fired a 1911.
This gun is the most fun to shoot of all my guns. It has little recoil. The trigger is super sensitive, It's easy to aim...although I was all over the place on the target, I think I was excited and new to the platform, but I popped the bulls-eye within seven rounds.
The gun is tight...there's no rattle anywhere and the finish is a step above most guns from the Philippines. I fired this gun alongside a Rock Island Armory 1911, and although the RIA is also good, the Metro Arms is the better buy, as far as fitment and finish is concerned. The RIA has a loose trigger that hinders consistent trigger pull.
