In General
Thoughts on shooting & how we need to tailor our training to our individual mission be they self defense, LE, military, close quarters or long distance conflicts. We have to use the right tools for the job & NOT get sucked into throwing the baby out with the bath water when it comes to new techniques.
If you dont want to use them, fine but dont rag and try to disprove a technique by using 'what if...' situations that are outside the purpose of a certain technique.
Stay flexible and remember to evaluate techniques that can assist you in your daily routines, or the routines of your students (some of which have special needs due to physical limitations, jobs, etc).
:)
