love the 7,62x39. that said the garand was designed to be .276 and 10rd but they wanted 30-06, the brits wanted .280 but no... the man wanted 308 (love that too for fun but not as adopted caliber by all means), then they demanded the 5,56 which I rather dislike for... its a 22 peashooter. maybe not the grendel but a 6,5 is clearly SO much better for overall usage... the 6,5jap is a good round, the carcano is the 6,5x55 is outstanding. it sure should have been adopted wide spread use since decades.
