NRA Board of Director arguing for secrecy from NRA Members!

John Cushman has been an NRA Board Member for 20 years. He was the hand picked Establishment Candidate that narrowly defeated outsider Adam Kraut for a seat on the Board in 2018.

In this clip from the 2019 Members Meeting in Indianapolis, he is arguing against openly discussion concerns that Voting Members have expressed over potential financial malfeasance, corruption, cronyism, dysfunctional relationships with vendors and other issues within the NRA. His statements start 23 Seconds in.

He specially says that there are things that Members will never know and should never know. At one point he even suggests that the Members would not be capable of understanding all of the information if they did have access to it.

These sentiments were echoed by other Board of Directors Members at the same meeting during these arguments, including Marion Hammer and James Porter, II.. both Past Presidents of the NRA. Board Members Willes Lee and Peter "Jay" Printz also spoke against the opportunity for Voting Members to express their concerns and ask questions of the NRA's Officers.
