Old Sightmark Reflex Sights SUCK! Mini Shot Review - Sightmark Mini Shot Pro Spec Reflex Sight

New Generation Sightmark Mini Shot Pro Spec
http://amzn.to/2vSNVoc

Today we go over the Sightmark Mini Shot Pro Spec Reflex sight. When these red dot sights were first introduced they were junk, total garbage. The batteries were hard to change, the adjustment locking screws did not work properly, etc. The old version of the Sightmark Mini Shot Pro Spec would not hold a zero even on something as mild as a .22 caliber pistol. The odd thing is, these junky red dot sights are all over the place, in every one line store, still for sale, even though the new generation Sightmark sights are available and have been for some time. Sightmark did address and fix many issues with stemming from the old version and we have been quite happy with the new versions. Granted, we only run them on our Browning Buckmark .22 pistols for rimfire bullseye matches. It would be nice to test a newer generation Sightmark Mini Shot Pro Spec on some other firearms, like our Glock 17L, to see just how well the improvements hold up. However, Sightmark was not willing to spot us one to test. Since we do not want to use on of our current sights for fear it will damage it, we have refrained from those tests. A very generous sponsor has offered us a Vortex Venom and we should receive, review and test that int he coming weeks. The price point on those sights are not much more than the Sightmark Mini Shot Pro Spec. If anyone out there has any experience running Sightmark optics on larger caliber pistols, particularly if they are slide mounted, PLEASE comment and let's discuss it.
