I wonder how many people carry concealed while also carrying openly.
A shoulder or chest rig may be best to help to avoid a scenario like the one above since weapon retention would be much easier. Also a shoulder rig would be ideal when driving. Another good reason for for using a chest or shoulder rig would be to help prevent mishaps when using restrooms while carrying. Also a shoulder or chest rig could be easily concealed with a coat or suit jacket.
The downside to concealed carry is that by trying not to appear like a threat the carrier may inadvertently make themselves appear like a potential victim instead. Sadly it is not unheard of for a robber to steal a gun from a concealed carrier.
