Join me on an early morning archery hunt in the Central Texas Hill Country near San Antonio. Waiting patiently for the does to come in a feed at the corn feeder, my patience paid off after an hour or so. A large 9 point buck came carefully in and ran most of the does off. As he ate the corn at his leisure, I waited for a nice broad side shot and let my arrow fly from my Bowtec compound bow. Pulling about 55 pounds of force, my arrow flew to it's target. At first I thought my shot may have been off. But after waiting for the deer to settle down and die, I discovered him quickly and realized my shot was true and on target.
