Philadelphia sues Polymer80 and JSD Supply over "Ghost Guns", Rob Pincus responds.
Rob Pincus joined Scripps News to talk about the unfair attack by the City of Philadelphia against Private Gun Making.
Despite clear Constitutional Protections and the gun laws of the State of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia has sued both Polymer80, Inc. and JSD Supply over the selling of precursors and parts that allow individuals to legally make their own firearms. Philadelphia is claiming that these companies are contributing to the city's violent crime problem, uses distorted statistics, spurious claims and "ghost gun" fear-mongering.
Rob Pincus is the Director of the Gun Makers' Match, a series of events which provide opportunities for those engaged in the hobby of private gun making to show off their builds and compete in a safe and responsible environment. He works with Guns For Everyone National and Firearms Policy Coalition to promote responsible private gun making. His traditional firearms manufacturing company, Avidity Arms, has made a file available so that private gun makers engaged in 3D Printing can create their own versions of the PD10 Pistol, which he originally designed.
Both Polymer80 and JSD Supply have had to massively adjust their businesses over the past few years, under attacks from the Biden Administration. The most significant attempt to infringe on private gun making and the companies' businesses was recently ruled unconstitutional by a Federal Court.
