we have found a tip for those who own this iconic piece of history! you will need an accurate measuring device, (i.e. calipers) and a rotary type tool and small files. not terribly difficult for those who are mechanically inclined.

If you pull the grip and slide the mag in you can see exactly where the release catch for mag makes contact . THEN mark your spot ,left or right will work . A hack saw makes a better cut than a file
