We already have an illegal Red Flag law in Florida that I have told my reps and governor to repeal. It was pushed into law by the legislature without voter approval or referendum. It has already been abused by the authorities. As a result we are guilty until proven innocent. We cannot respond or be granted a hearing until after the fact and that fact could be hearsay accusations or allegations without evidence which is inadmissible in a court of law. Rapid due process is no due process at all.

I agree that is what its all about. Life and liberty under the law or unlawful government enslavement. The tools to prevent mass shootings are already there in place without more laws. Any citizen can get a court order to have a suspected person medically examined and we don't need a Red Flag law to do that. Enforcement of existing laws or let us just say negligence both by government and by family and citizens is the leading cause why these shooters were not stopped before their acts.
