Found this today at a small gun show.....love those small shows....a Remington Model 550-1. No date yet, I'm guessing late 40's to early 50's, haven't researched it at all.
I wanted to do a video of exactly what I bring home before clean up or anything, not that this example needs much attention, it was obviously in someones collection who cares for their guns.
Interesting in that it is semi auto and is able to (according to the barrel markings) handle .22 short, long, and long rifle cartridges without any adjusting of anything between shots.
There are a few patents listed for a guy named Williams for this rifle, maybe we will check them out in a future episode where we see if this thing can do what it claims.
