The Model 1903 in 30-06....the "if you can't beat "˜em, join "˜em" rifle. Most production was made in Springfield Armory hence the much more common name of 1093 Springfield but during two separate manufacturing periods at Rock Island Arsenal these were produced for use my the US Military.
Just in time for WW1 they served through many infamous combat events in US history including many in WW2. This 1918 example had a re-arsenal along the lines in the early 30's and probably again before or during WW2.
