This series is intended to help the responsible viewer learn to disassemble, clean, maintain and reassemble their Ruger SR1911. Then, if the viewer follows along, by the end of this series you will have successfully learned how to safely reload your own ammunition and be shooting your own reloads safely and accurately down range.

One note: The lock provided is to ensure the firearm is in a safe condition making it impossible for an inexperienced individual or child gain operating access to it. However, if you decide not to use the lock it is your responsibility to keep your pistol on your person where you have control over it or it must be securely stored where it cannot be obtained by others. My personal preference is to keep it on my person at all times. That way I have control over it and if needed I have quick access to it.
