Savage Arms "Four Tenner" .410 Shotgun Gauge Adapter

This video is a look at vintage "Four Tenner" .410 shotgun adapter barrel inserts produced by the Savage Arms Corporation. Savage made these adapters to fit 12, 16 and 20 gauge shotguns to allow the use of .410" bore shells in the larger gauge guns. Quite useful for training new shooters, close range hunting and pest control and target shooting.

There are two basic versions of these tubes, the original steel model and the later "featherweight" version with steel chamber and aluminum barrel.
