Continuing our series on making your own musket caps at home. They may not be as pretty as the 4-wing copper CCI reenactor caps, but they get the job done!
Shooting the 1859 Sharps reproduction with its 2 tortuous turns on the way to the firing hole, our musket caps functioned perfectly.
***Always be sure to wear eye protection as I did experience a small amount of blowback which came back at me.***
