The Sig Sauer P320 disassembles simply, easily and safely. To field strip the P320, first remove the magazine. Then rotate the take down lever located on the frame of the P320. Unlike some other firearms there is no need to press the trigger to remove the slide.

Once you have rotated the take down lever simply remove the slide from the frame of the P320 to break the firearm down into its 2 main pieces. Slightly press on the recoil spring and with a little twist it should remove from the barrel. The barrel of the P320 should now fall out of the slide. It's that simple.

At this point, for simple cleaning there is no need to further disassemble the P320. However if you wish to swap the frame, to remove the firearm control group, simply press up on the trigger from within the trigger guard and slightly wiggle. The fire control group will easily remove from the frame of the P320.
