Ian covered the basis of what Forgotten Weapons is about very well. One thing I will mention is the channel touches on more popular weapons it is because there is some interesting history behind the weapon or the variance. That could be variance of AR 15 during development. It could be a foreign military weapon that did not have many civilian version imported into the US. The weapon could be a civilian weapon that was used by a foreign military or partizan group. The Forgotten Weapon could be a variance used or tested by a country we don't normally associate with a particular popular weapon. Regardless, Ian almost always has the weapon to on hand to examine. He rarely uses photos.
Forgoten Weapons is interesting, and you can't find these weapons just anywhere.
