We take the brand new STI Staccato C2 out for the first 100 rounds. The C2 might be the best new carry gun to hit the market in 2020.

I like to think that my incessant bitching and mockery was responsible for STI finally abandoning that disgustingly ugly tree-bark stippling pattern and replace the polymer grip module with something that looks more professionally done.

When you carry a 1911/2011, do you use a holster that covers the safety? If not, does that concern you at all? Is trigger pull weight of the particular gun a factor?

not for me. the safety is really positive and there is also a grip safety. You would have to press all of them at once from multiple angles then hit the covered trigger

Interesting. I suppose if you drive a Porsche 911, why settle?

If you had to pick one, cost not being an issue, do you take the STI or Wilson Combat EDCX9? Thanks!

I've been trying to watch it. Could be my shitty internet or my fake 4G in the country. I'll try in the morning. I'm really interested in 2011s.

Thanks for the review Mr. Outlaw. I just called Staccato yesterday with questions about the C/C2 as I'm looking for a new CCW pistol. I appreciate your perspective. As a general note on your videos; I would appreciate if you would call out which plates you're shooting at when you do the "long range" portion. You did once in this video, but it would be interesting to know if you're shooting at the full or mid size silhouette, ten inch plate, etc. when you are moving out past fifty yards. Thanks for the great content. I hope your shoulder health improves and your fight with YouTube goes well! Kate
