I've always been a fan of the TLR-1, even before it reigned as king of the lumens. I love the controls of the Streamlights and the mounting mechanism, and how reliable they are. The Streamlight TLR-1 HL has never been a looker in my books, but it really gets the job done well. Streamlight's latest iteration of the TLR-1 certainly packs a punch at 800 lumens, and when size isn't an issue - it's my current go-to pistol light of choice.
