Talking with people outside of the gun community: Have an Action Plan.

Rob Pincus and Sarah Joy Albrecht talk about the importance of showing people outside the gun community that gun owners care about protecting life... and that we have plans and programs for reducing negative outcomes related to firearms ownership and use.

Sarah is the founder of Hold My Guns, an organization focused on providing opportunities for gun owners to responsibly, and voluntarily, distance themselves from firearms during times of crisis or any other time that it would be better to have them securely stored (travel, military deployments, long term house guests, etc...).

Sarah and Rob talk about the need to get involved in communities and local government and "infiltrating" conversations that are normally dominated by people pushing gun control with the evidence and action plans that demonstrate the fact that the gun community does address safety, responsibility and protecting life better than any other group.
