Yes you can take the extractor and firing pin block out. I have done it and its not fun. You will notice a pin next to the firing pin block on the underside of the slide. If you push it down you can remove the extractor and pin block but they are under spring tension so don't lose the springs or parts. When you reassemble make sure everything is fully seated and positively clicks back into place or the extractor and springs will come flying off when you shoot it. Don't ask me how I know that. This video below covers it on a Millennium G2 but the slide is the same on the G2c. BTW, my G2c is bigger than my P365. I can put the P365 in my pocket and its fits inside the palm of my hand. I can't do that with the G2c. Its the difference between a sub compact and a micro compact. Both have been flawless with various ammo over 600 rounds. You just have to get used to the quirky trigger on the G2c. The G2c is a proven pistol after all this time on the market. I don't modify a gun's functioning parts. That would be making problems the pistol does not have. If its not broke then I don't fix it. Manufacturers make guns to function as they come from the factory. Changing cosmetics like sights and grips are not critical functioning parts. I have no problems with the ergonomics of the G2c. Taurus has some of the best ergonomics on the market and their pistols are pointable unlike Glock with the odd grip angle. For a $200 pistol it is reliable and accurate and does the job. A lot of more expensive pistols can't say that.

I have only had to fix the parts on two of my guns that were not working right from the factory. One was the Phoenix Arms HP22A where the pistol needed a slide lock back after the last round since it is not suppose to be dry fired. The other was a Savage Axis rifle where the factory extractor was non working and needed a working replacement. Other than that I did lighten the heavy trigger.

@RobertM: Oh, and I did have to do a muzzle crown job on a Heritage Arms Rough Rider pistol that had a marred muzzle crown from the factory.
