That was quite interesting. Now that you have a chronograph, I suggest that you consider repeating the test. You don't need to show the loading part. I don't know if you've used up all the bullets as they only come 100 per box (at least the ones I am getting do). I'll talk to you a bit more about this OOB (for copyright reasons). I have a different protocol in mind.

Also, another thought. If it doesn't put you out too much, maybe also do the Jug-or-Not with each of the rounds. I would recommend loading enough so that you can do a string of five each over the chronograph for your velocity and energy data as well as hitting the boards as well as the Jug-or-Not. Just use the exact same load data you used for this test. It may well be very interesting.

This video was over 2 years ago and I know I used the bullets up. They are all at my local sporting goods store between about $20 and $22 per 100 depending on the weight. I may have to repeat it, the jug or not isn't a big deal as that's only $5, but obtaining the bullets will set me back with at least one pack of primers about $90. But i'll tell you what, next time I buy reloading supplies which I usually just get 100-200 bullets a month, i'll switch my $12.49 Speer TMJ's for the $19.99 XTP's and save out enough to repeat this test, maybe by summer i'll redo the video!

@Gun_Sam: 100 bullets don't last long when you shoot a lot! Because I don't have your local reloading supplies supermarket, I tend to purchase some things in bulk. Primers and powder are big examples because HAZMAT fees apply. As for the XTP bullets, MidwayUSA prices are lower than you quote. Although one box is obviously a lot less than four. MidwayUSA is running a sale on the XTPs at the moment. The only reason I'm going with the XTPs is the ease of obtaining 110, 125, 140, and 158 grain weights in the same exact bullet style. Pricing doesn't hurt either. BTW, I like to buy at least 1000 primers at a time. I'm weird that way. It's like buying a brick of 22LR.
