The Punchy Smith & Wesson 442 Airweight .38 Special

Today we took a look at the Smith and Wesson 442. The 442 .38 Special Airweight is a +P lightweight aluminum alloy j-frame revolver. It has an overall length of 6.3 inches. The carbon steel cylinder sports a 5 round capacity and the firearm weighs in at around 14.9 ounces. It has a comfortable, two finger, rubber grip and an integral fixed sight system. The trigger is a double-action only pull with an internal hammer. The pull weight is roughly 11 pounds. This .38 is perfect for pocket concealment, especially with the enclosed hammer, and it is an ideal close contact firearm.
