This Triumph Thunderbird just works for me on all levels. The Yamaha FZ8 was an exciting and fun bike, but it just wasn't comfortable enough. I wanted a cruiser with ergonomics like my old Honda Magna (1994), handled well on curvy roads, and I wanted a powerful, reliable, fuel-injected, water cooled engine. I didn't want floor boards or heel-toe shifters and I didn't want a chain to fiddle with. I definitely didn't want oddly curved beach bars that some retro-styled cruisers have. I finally found what I was looking for in the Thunderbird. I can't wait to get some adventures under my belt on this thing.
