Trying the Franklin Armory Binary Trigger System at Shotshow 2017

The trigger works exactly as advertised. The selector has safe, semi-auto and binary fire modes. In BINARY mode the trigger fires a round with each pull and a second round with each release. This is allowed by the BATFE because each trigger action is only performing one action. My first thought (like many people), what if you pull the trigger and don't want to fire the second round? Switch out of binary mode and the releasing the trigger becomes safe. (I test this in the video.) It is a blast to shoot but would take a lot of adjustment on my part. The feeling of discharge on release is against every instinct built into me over the years. I can tell my brain what will happen and it's still a surprise each time. It feels like an accidental discharge in my gut. As much as I like the idea, it scares me a little.
