Taking my Alpha Epsilon Systems AR10 in caliber 308 hunting for the first time. My childhood friends daughter wanted to use it instead of her 270 Winchester bolt action rifle. She is not used to autoloaders so it will take her some time to get there.

For this evening hunt we were just going to sit and watch waiting to see what showed and it turned out to be a sausage fest of white tail bucks ranging from 3 points to 10 points. There were so many at one point that I actually lost count. Since none of these deer were a true trophy deer we opted to cull out one of the three pointers. The 308 was equipped with a Silencer Co Harvester suppressor and after the first deer went down, the second stayed. So my young friend dropped the other three. Both shots were in the lungs and they did not run far.
