Winchester 12 Gauge Model 140 Ranger 1400 - Review & Guide

The Winchester 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun Model 140 Ranger is our next project. With wing-shooting well underway we go through and demonstrate how to perform "guerilla gunsmithing" on that abused value gun. We disassemble, clean, slick up and lube one of the iconic guns from Winchester. This stamped sheet metal gun has all the features of a low-market end piece, from its riveted operating rods to its one piece stamped bolt carrier/charging handle, these guns may be cheap but they still bring game home making hunting truly the every-man sport in America.

Most parts for the 140 are long gone but many are interchangeable with the Winchester 12 gauge 1400/1500 so don't be afraid to do some work on your old work horse!
