This is Sarge here at C4 Defense with a quick video on the Vortex Venom 3 MOA red dot sight. We’re gonna see how this sight improves our accuracy at distances beyond the typical combat (self defense) situation. I’ll be shooting the Vortex Venom on my Glock 41 MOS 45 acp pistol. The Glock 41 comes with a 5.3" barrel, and I've added Trijicon suppressor height night sights and a Streamlight TLR-1 light. This pistol is stock internally, with only the stainless pins added for athstentics. Most modern handguns are designed to be effective from 25 yards and in. I've got this one sighted in at 10 yards. Let’s see what this sight will allow us to do beyond 25 yards. Can we hit a 2/3 size IDPA (12" wide 20" tall) steel target at 100 yards? Maybe, we might surprise you.
