Why Gun Rights Advocates talk to "liberal" media...
We need more educated discussion on Gun Rights Issues in our country and, especially, in our media. I've done many "liberal" or even "pro gun control" leaning radio and TV shows over the years. This morning, Stephen Gutowski and Rob Pincus both participated in a discussion about the current struggles inside the NRA on NPR's "On Point" show.
Many have asked "WHY would they dare to go outside of the safe-space and do such a thing?"
Many in the gun community have been brainwashed to distrust the "main stream media" so much that they won't even participate. If educated and articulate gun owners don't participate in the discussion, claiming that the press coverage "isn't fair" is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
