You should STOCKPILE AMMO for SHTF because no one will be sending it to us

The amount of ammo you should stockpile to survive SHTF is not just so you can have plenty for yourself. Most people would only use a very small amount. One of the real reasons is because no one else would be sending it to us.

We are sending tens of thousands of rounds of ammo to Europe, especially Ukraine, but no one would be sending it to us if we needed it.

Everyone always asks, how much ammo should you stockpile or carry? The amount of ammo you should have will depend on the situation you are preparing for. There are a lot of factors that you need to consider when trying to make the decision that works for you.

The amount of ammo that someone needs for concealed carry is at least one spare magazine at a minimum. The main reason to carry a spare magazine is to be able to fix the gun in the event of a jam or other type of ammo related failure.

Buying up large quantities of ammo will not benefit you if you are in a location you would need to bug out of in the event of SHTF. If you cannot carry it, you will only be providing ammo for someone else. If you have a good bugout location, storing more of your ammo there would be a better option.

A large amount of ammo will be heavy to transport, especially if you are walking. You will be able to carry more if you are in a vehicle but will still be limited to what you can carry along with carrying other supplies such as food and water.
