Ya, silly! UK is crazy scared of Ninjas. They have whole list of prohibited "Ninja weapons". Many places in the US want to be the same way. I can think of a few weapons that don't violate that section of Arizona law: mace, morning star, flail, chain axe, double chain axe, dragon head chain, chain, chain on a stick (1 stick), Shuang Fei Zhua (Double Flyinng Claw), Shuang Tao Fei Chui (Flying Weight), Ribbon Daggers, and spiked chain. Some of those are straight out of fantacy and others out of the Orient.
