I was getting dinner. It wasn't too bad of a walk. We zig-zagged through the crowd from the Washington Nationals parade. The crowd that was supposed to be part of the reason that some didn't go to D.C. It wasn't bad. We had a 45 minute wait for a table, so we walked to the Washington Monument, took pictures and walked back. I walked back to the place we rented after dark and was not afraid to be in D.C. unarmed. Some people wanted to attend, but had reasonable explanations, others just had excuses. I hope to see more people next time and I hope the organizers learned some lessons from this rally that they can apply to the next one.
