Jimenez J.A. 22LR pistol. After one year...thoughts?
I purchased this pistol last summer and have taken it to the range on three occasions. I have run four different brands/types of 22LR through it and on the first two trips, the gun functioned fine until the 120-125 round mark. Carbon fouling caused some FTF issues.
Granted, it could be the magazines but otherwise, no major issues. On my most recent trip to the range I fired 25 rounds of CCI Stinger ammo through it with no issues whatsoever.
It makes a nice, inexpensive second backup to your conceal carry piece and/or truck gun. While it serves its purpose, it is not my primary carry and I would not trust my life to it, simply because of the jamming issues, but I do feel that the first 50-100 rounds will fire without any issues, but again, any pistol can fail to fire.
Do your research and you be the judge.
