Mr.YacYas brought his M1 Garand Rifle out to the Hank Strange Hacienda on the day we shot the 9mm Glock vs. Glock Video. Even though we had some pretty heavy rain downpour that day we were able to get in a little quick shooting of the Firearm. The M1 Garand Rifle chambered for the 30-06 Springfield rifle cartridge was the first standard-issue semi-automatic rifle. Called "the greatest battle implement ever devised" by General George S. Patton the Garand officially replaced the bolt-action M1903 Springfield as the standard service rifle of the United States Armed Forces in 1936.
