Nike and Colin Kaepernick: Sacrifice???

My hot take on the Nike/Colin Kaepernick situation. Some people may not agree with my stance on the whole Kaepernick situation, but a few have gotten it twisted as to why I was upset over the Nike ads, so I'm putting this out to set the record straight.

I agree with you and everything you said in this video 100%. I too took that oath several times. I completely support the right to protest and voice your opinion. Six of my friends paid that ultimate price protecting the right to burn the flag or take a knee. Simply because I support their right to do it does not mean I have to like it. I will not watch another NFL game or buy any NFL product ever again, nor will I ever buy any NIke product either. When these players take a knee they say it is just that they want to start a dialect on injustice. Like you said they could have made a better statement to start that conversation. Yes, there is injustice but when I see them take a knee during the anthem, I don’t think about or see a white police officer shooting an unarmed black man in the back that is running from him. I see them in Arlington National Cemetery pissing on my friends grave.
