Ohio Senate introduces bumpstock ban- Call to Action!
Ohio Senate Bill 219 would mirror the proposed Federal legislation and would ban not only bumpstocks, but aftermarket parts as well, and create the 4th degree felony crime of "Illegal Rate of Fire Conduct". Ohioans, contact your State Senators and Representatives and tell them NOT to support this legislation!

Sample letter:
Dear Sir,
As one of your constituents, I would like to take this opportunity to express my opposition to Ohio SB 219. This bill, in addition to blaming an inanimate object for the actions of a madman, would result in the banning of many aftermarket firearms accessories. It causes law abiding citizens to pay for the actions of a criminal by making them felons if they possess items they bought legally prior to the bill (which is in and of itself unconstitutional as an ex post facto law).
I urge you to oppose this bill in the strongest way possible, and remind you of the strong tradition of firearms ownership among Ohio's voters.
Thank you for your time,
